Beaches beyond the cabin

Herbrand Walk

This is the beach straight ahead of you from your cabin, walkable in 30/40 mins. Dog friendly all year round and with the Cooden Beach Hotel next to it, it’s a great place for a pit stop.

Bexhill Beach

This is located on the promenade in Bexhill, lovely place to walk along and children can take bikes, lots of café’s and ice cream places plus great fish and chips. Dog friendly Sept-April.

Drusillas Park offers a great family day out. With 100’s of zoo animals to see and endless playing areas, plus a mini water park for when the weather gets hot, it is regarded as one of the best small zoo parks in the country.

Camber Sands

Camber Sands is a little unusual for a Sussex beach and the reason is in the name. Yes, sands! Camber Sands is covered in fine, golden sand. Not only that but Camber is home to the only sand dunes in East Sussex, with fish and chips being served on the beach it is the perfect family day out. Well worth the 40 minute drive!

Hastings Pier

Bateman’s is a 17th-century house located in Burwash, East Sussex, England. It was the home of Rudyard Kipling from 1902 until his death in 1936. The house was built in 1634. Kipling’s widow Caroline bequeathed the house to the National Trust on her death in 1939.
